Woe is She: Historical Perspectives on Hysterical Remedies

Join Maypop Herb Shop owners Jen Stovall and Rachel Reeves, as well as current Cachet resident artist Rachel Speck, for a discussion of the patent medicines recommended for women in the 19th century - who marketed/profited off of them, what they contained and what aspects of these curious cultural concoctions are still relevant.

This event will also be the opening of our art exhibition "Beneath the Womb Veil", featuring Rachel Speck and other artists working within our themes of female healthcare justice.
