On Wednesday May 11th a PANEL DISCUSSION at the Pharmacy Museum, 6-9pm

Our speakers are:

Kai Lumumba Barrow - Artist, Activist and Director of Gallery of the Streets

Rebecca Snedeker - Documentary film maker and director of the New Orleans Center for the Gulf South

Leon A. Waters - Author and historian, director of Hidden Histories

Dr. Kimberly Chandler - Professor of Women's studies at Xavier, Performance Artist

This discussion promises to be lovely and lively! We look forward to a deeply critical look at the personal, cultural and political environments of New Orleans and their effects on the mind.

All events at the Pharmacy Museum are Free and Open to the Public.

"AT WORLD'S END" an Exhibition

This exhibition is on display at the Tigermen Den (3113 Royal St.)

 

Selections from an illustrated story and collaboration between Artists in Residence:

Tennessee based writer Elyza Touzeau and illustrator / artist Natalie Woodlock

"At World's End" follows the life of one patient in a mental institution and the

inner worlds she creates. The illustrations shift between the world of the

hospital, the past that brought her there and the inner worlds she lives in.
